Taleemi Wazaif Cash Withdrawal Procedure

BISP Taleemi Wazaif Quarterly Instalments have been started from October to December 2024. Those families enrolled in the Taleemi Wazaif Programme and the BISP Kafalat Programme often face challenges withdrawing their payments disbursed by the government through the program to their registered bank accounts.

How to Withdraw Cash Using Bank ATM?
Step-by-Step procedure
Firstly, the mother of the child whose payment needs to be withdrawn should take her CNIC card to the designated bank ATM (such as HBL Bank). Then, go to a bank registered with the BISP program, where the ATM has a biometric thumb option.
Step 1. See a screen like the one shown in the photo, with 2 options displayed: “Scan Your Thumb,” meaning you place your thumb, and “Insert Your Card,” meaning you insert your ATM card or Benazir card. Place your thumb, and the second option will open.

Step 2. Once you place your thumb, the screen will display an option like “Select Language,” and you’ll need to choose Urdu. If you understand English or have someone with you who does, you can also select English.
Step 3. After selecting the language, a “Main Menu” screen will appear, where the top option on the left side will be labeled “BISP.” Press that button and no other because the other options are not relevant to your task.

Step 4. Immediately after that, a column will appear on the screen for entering your CNIC number, and here you need to remember one thing: if the child has a CNIC card, dial that number; if not, then dial the CNIC number of the child’s mother, who is an active beneficiary of BISP.
Step 5. As soon as you enter your CNIC card number, an option to place your thumb again will appear on the ATM screen, which we call biometric. Here, scan your thumb and proceed toward cash withdrawal.
Always remember that when you see a red light lit up on the ATM, understand that this is the option to place your thumb, which is called biometric.

Step 6. When you scan your biometric, you’ll see 4 options like these, among which the top one is “Cash withdrawal,” which you need to select because you’re here to withdraw money.
It’s essential to know that if your biometric verification hasn’t been done in BISP before, this option won’t be available on the ATM. To check your instalment amount visit the 8171 web portal for balance inquiry.
Step 7. If you don’t know how much money you have in your account or if you have any outstanding payments, select the third option, where “Balance Inquiry” is written.
Check your current amount, and there you will see the same Cash Withdrawal button, select that option and you will reach the final step.

Step 8. The Urdu text above means that you can withdraw a minimum of 500 rupees, so you can withdraw any amount, but not less than 500 rupees.
Finally, enter the amount of money you want to withdraw. Just like you want to collect your total amount then enter it in Rs. Colum
